Aardvark Industrees
Aardvark is a cannabis cultivation company based in Lansing. We helped with brand creation, ongoing PR for a variety of projects and the Michigan launch of Willie’s Reserve cannabis.
IndiGrow
The City of Muskegon’s first cannabis microbusiness IndiGrow turned to us to help get the word out about this new business in downtown Muskegon with media outreach and communication planning.
Pharmhouse Wellness
Pharmhouse Wellness is Grand Rapids’ only locally owned cannabis provisioning center. We helped with communication planning and strategy, social media, grant writing, media relations and website content.
Public Health-Muskegon County
We helped Public Health-Muskegon County with a website and outreach materials regarding harm-reduction messaging and cannabis facts for specific audiences—drivers, people who consume edibles, pregnant women, parents and young people.
Destination Ann Arbor
Choosing to place cannabis information on its website, this convention and visitor’s bureau based in Washtenaw County reached out to Canna Communication to conduct research on cannabis tourism and assist with copywriting for it’s cannabis webpage.
MJ Verdant
MJ Verdant is a locally-owned cannabis cultivator in Muskegon and we helped with creating its website, developing its brand document, connecting with Muskegon area neighborhood groups and with an event to help introduce the cultivation company to provisioning centers.
New Standard
New Standard is a cannabis provisioning company with locations across Michigan. We helped with public relations, content creation, special events and copywriting. We also held the MEO license for New Standard Park Place’s Halloweed event.
Grassy Knoll
We helped Grassy Knoll, a Muskegon-based provisioning center with its grand opening, ribbon cutting, and securing media around the big day.
Public Thread
We helped this woman-owned local business get its upcycled cannabis stash products into the hands of provisioning centers.
Cresco Labs
We helped attract media to Cresco Labs grand opening for its cultivation facility in Marshall.
Light’N Up
We helped Light’N Up with media outreach for its 1000 turkey giveaway event in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Cannabis Pre-Roll Trail
We helped create and launch the now-defunct Cannabis Pre-Roll Trail with 12 Muskegon area dispensaries. The PRT was active for two years.
Cannalex Law
Cannalex is a Grand Rapids-based law firm that serves cannabis businesses. We help with their social media, website, PR and content creation.
The WellFlower
With stores in Manistee Ypsilanti and Northfield, The WellFlower utilized the services of Canna Communication for strategic communication planning, grand opening work and ongoing public relations.
